Kalysta officially started her under saddle training this year! She was backed in 2008 (3 year old) but because of her size and stage of development we felt it better to wait for more serious riding. After 2 months she is making fantastic progress. She is a lovely forward mover - light on her feet for a big horse (17.1 h). We have even started a bit of training over fences. Kalysta shows great promise as a Dressge prospect or a lovely moving Hunter. She is calm and willing over fences.
Kalysta was born on June 21st, 2005. A full moon on the summer solstice. She's been very special from the start.
Looking for a dressage horse? This mare has a "10" walk, spectacular uphill canter, and lovely ground covering trot. She is light on her feet and a real eye catcher. She also has the quiet mind and jumping talent to be a Hunter.
